The solids were collected by filtration, washed with warm water (2x 20 mL) and dried under vacuum to yield 20.6 g of a crude product that was slurried in a mixture of of ethanol (240 mL) and water (60 mL). The solids were collected by filtration and dried under vacuum to yield the title compound (16 g, 13.7 g theoretical weight; quant yield).
