Application of C9H19NO, 2,2,6,6-Tetramethyl-4-piperidinol(TEMPO) is a useful research compound. Its molecular formula is C9H19NO and its molecular weight is 157.25 g/mol. The purity is usually 95%.
TEMPO is an intermediate used in the preparation of Piperidinyloxy free radical derivatives.
TEMPO is an organic compound that acts as a radical scavenger. It is stable in the presence of water and air and can be used for the inhibition of bacterial growth. TEMPO reacts with reactive intermediates to form non-reactive substances and terminate chain reactions. This process is optimal at temperatures between 0°C and 40°C and pH values between 3.5 and 7.5. TEMPO has been shown to inhibit the growth of bacteria by reacting with reactive molecules such as amines, chlorides, or low energy radicals in aqueous solution. TEMPO also has genotoxic activity that inhibits DNA synthesis in bacterial cells through oxidation of guanine residues on DNA molecules., 2403-88-5.

Piperidine was first reported in 1850 by the Scottish chemist Thomas Anderson and again, independently, in 1852 by the French chemist 2403-88-5, formula is C9H19NO, Name is 2,2,6,6-Tetramethyl-4-piperidinol. Auguste Cahours, who named it. Both of them obtained piperidine by reacting piperine with nitric acid. Application of C9H19NO.

Tahir, Mudassir Hussain;Irfan, Rana Muhammad;Cheng, Xingxing;Ahmad, Muhammad Sajjad;Jamil, Muhammad;Shah, Tanveer-Ul- Hassan;Karim, Abdul;Ashraf, Rizwan;Haroon, Muhammad research published 《 Mango peel as source of bioenergy, bio-based chemicals via pyrolysis, thermodynamics and evolved gas analyses》, the research content is summarized as follows. Waste biomass is one of the promising feedstocks for bioenergy generation in present era. The aim of present study is to demonstrate Mango peel as a source of bioenergy, bio-based chem. and phenols productions via pyrolysis, thermodn. and evolved gas analyses. Therefore, samples were characterized through thermogravimetric analyzer, Fourier transform IR spectrometry (FTIR) and pyrolysis-gas chromatog./mass spectrometry (Py-GC/MS). Pyrolysis experiments were carried out at different heating rates i.e. 10, 20 and 30 °Cmin-1 and thermodn. parameters were calculated using different kinetic models. The apparent activation energy was found in range of 88 kJ mol-1 to 304 kJ mol-1 with all kinetic models. Evolved gaseous anal. was performed though out pyrolysis and between three temperature intervals for qual. and quant. anal. of pyrolytic compounds Similarly, effect of temperature and heating rate on pyrolytic compounds concentrations were also carried out. Release of several chems., aromatics compounds and high phenols concentration i.e. 21.01% via Py/GC-MS confirms its potential for bioenergy, bio-based chems. productions and anti-oxidant characteristics associated with phenolic compounds
