A mixture of 2,6-dibromo-4-nitropyridine (4 g, 14.19 mmol) and 103A (9.17 g, 35.5 mmol) in 1,4 dioxane (40 mL) was refluxed in pressure tube at 130 C for 16 h. 1,4 dioxane was removed completely.
