General procedure: The alcohol (1.0 equiv.) was dissolved in pyridine at roomtemperature. The solution was stirred and N-ethyl-N-methylcarbamoylchloride (1.2 equiv.) was added. The reaction mixturewas stirred under argon at reflux (120 C) for 24 h. The mixturewascooled to room and the solvent was evaporated.
